I purchased the Snowboard Butter Mat and Dragon Journey Chapter 2 from Buttermasterr, and I’m very impressed with both the quality of the products and the service.
The board has a beautiful design and feels very high-quality. The Butter Mat is also great, especially because its design helps you consciously focus on your heel and toe edge while practicing.
I also want to mention Yotam, the owner, who is a genuinely great guy. He helped me choose the best snowboard for my needs and has been incredibly helpful with every question I’ve had, even when it’s not directly related to his products. He takes the time to help me choose the right equipment for my riding style and gives me advice on how to improve my snowboard tricks.
It’s clear that Yotam is working incredibly hard to build his own brand and, more importantly, a strong community around it. I definitely think Buttermasterr deserves more attention.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with both the products and the service. Highly recommended!

I’ve been practicing with Buttermaster’s tutorial videos recently, and I finally got the hang of it!
Huge thanks to Buttermaster for providing such high-quality tutorials and an awesome training mat. It allows me to keep practicing during the off-season without being limited by where I can train, and the progress I’ve made definitely carries over to riding on snow!
Really appreciate the great content and training setup!

“When I started, I could barely spin 180 degrees. After a few months of training, I was doing 540s.”

“This mat was a real discovery for me last season. I bought it around September/October 2025 because I was really motivated to improve my ground tricks. I spent a lot of time training on it and learned tricks like the drivespin. At first, you might feel that the mat isn't slippery enough. Guess what? It's not the mat. It's your skills. When I started, I could barely spin 180 degrees. After a few months of training, I was doing 540s. The ButterMaster IT Mat doesn't give you anything for free, but if you put the work in, you can improve a lot. On the first day of the season, I tried the drivespin on snow for the first time. From my very first attempt, it felt surprisingly familiar, thanks to all the training I had done on the mat. For me, that's the biggest advantage of the ButterMaster IT Mat: it allows you to put in a huge amount of repetition without needing to be on the mountain. And when you finally take those tricks to the snow, the movement already feels familiar.”

SNOW SURFACE.
A faster sliding surface for experienced riders working on combinations.
Yes. You can work on presses, spins, balance and body position at home. It does not replace riding on snow, but it helps you arrive better prepared.

The balance and pop feel exactly like high-end Japanese freestyle boards.
Presses are stable, spins feel lighter, and the board forgives small mistakes.
Didn’t expect this quality from a new brand – seriously impressed
Very well engineered board.
The W-camber makes presses easy but still gives real stability at speed.
Feels like a Japanese freestyle board but with a softer, more friendly flex.
Super responsive without being too stiff.
I mainly ride park + side hits, and this board has the cleanest pop I’ve felt in years.
Lightweight, smooth edge control, and shipped fast.
Honestly, I didn’t expect such a big difference. The mat forces you to move correctly, and you actually feel the sliding like on snow. After a few weeks, my confidence improved a lot.
It feels for me about 70% like real snow. It’s great for practicing presses, ollies, and even combos, but of course not a full replacement for the mountain. Super useful for dedicated riders, less so for casual ones.”
The best part about the Butter-IT Training Matt is how quick it is to set up. I just unfold it and start training right away. No hassle, no waiting, that’s why I actually practice more often, and it really shows on snow
